SPIRAL beech Dowel pins

Information

We are specialists in making spiral grooved dowel pins in beech wood. The spiral is pressed into the dowel and on top of this we are pressing our dowel 0.1 mm (from 10.1 to 10.0 mm). We are the only producer in the world of dowel pins that uses this method.

The spiral ensures that the glue is covering a large surface and that the moisture of the glue, makes the dowel expand the 0,1 mm and through this provides the best joint.

Compared to our competitors, our chamfer is pressed into the dowel pin, where our competitors has a chamfer around 2 mm. This gives, on the dowel pin size 8x40mm, a 10% smaller glue surface on our competitors dowels compared to ours.

Please order some samples from us and try the following test

Put the dowel pin into some water to absorb moisture. Press it into a right size hole and let it dry for a day. Then try to pull the dowel pin out.
